Day V: Chiang Mai

After a hearty breakfast which included the best smoothie bowl Ive ever had and a coffee we faced the last day of the trip.
There was one slight obstacle that made it just a little bit less fun.
Rain.
Lots of rain.
Deep cleaning wash program.
Riding 130km in around 2½h while getting first soaking wet trough the hill sites and later on in short rainbreak periods airdryed only to get hit by another rainwave wasn't the definition of fun to me BUT it was a great experience.
This may sound controversial, but it is precisely experiencing and overcoming "bad" experiences that makes an adventure great for me.
Overall, rains just water.
So I was riding with a smile while my shoes got filled up with said water.
We obviously didn't took any breaks and just went trough it, brought the Bikes back in Chiang Mai and after a shower and some rest we visited the Night Market.Read more
