New shores: Japan🇯🇵

The night was mostly sleepless, even tho I tried to go to bed early.
Was it the heat in the room?
The loud planes I could hear clearly all the time cause my Hotel was near the Airport?
Nervousness about tomorrows flight?
A combination of all?
Netherless, I jumped out of bed at 0430, checked my stuff and the room one last time (and of course brushed my teeth, cause Im civilized) and went down to the lobby where the hotel owner slept on the couch.
How we agreed, he called me a taxi to the airport, everything went along the plan.
Until I had to switch from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 via Metro, which started at 0520.
After my small conversatiok with security and my powerbank in my hands I boarded the flight without any trouble and left solid ground at around 0820.
I landed on time at around 1220 in Tokio and have to say: the immigration system they have just works fine.
Everything, from getting off the plane, collecting my bag and going trough the stages of entering the country took me like half an hour.

I didn't had much trouble with the metro cause its similar to China and not shortly after I arrived at the hostel.
Were I finally reunited with Peter.
While telling storys of what each of us did the last month we explored Tokio a little bit bit in the evening and ended up playing mario kart at our place.
Were back!

Die Nacht war größtenteils schlaflos, obwohl ich versucht hatte, früh ins Bett zu gehen.
Lag es an der Hitze im Zimmer?
An den Flugzeugen, die ich ständig deutlich hören konnte, weil mein Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafens lag?
An der Nervosität wegen des morgigen Fluges?
Oder an einer Kombination aus allem?
Wie dem auch sei, ich sprang um 4:30 Uhr aus dem Bett, überprüfte meine Sachen und das Zimmer ein letztes Mal (und putzte mir natürlich die Zähne, schließlich bin ich zivilisiert) und ging in die Lobby, wo der Hotelbesitzer auf der Couch schlief.
Wie vereinbart, bestellte er mir ein Taxi zum Flughafen, und alles lief nach Plan.
Bis ich um 5:20 Uhr mit der Metro von Terminal 2 zu Terminal 1 fahren musste.
Nach einem kurzen Gespräch mit dem Sicherheitspersonal und meiner Powerbank in der Hand bestieg ich problemlos das Flugzeug und hob gegen 8:20 Uhr ab.
Ich landete pünktlich gegen 12:20 Uhr in Tokio, eine Stunde wieder mehr vor als zuhause, und muss sagen: Das Einreisesystem dort funktioniert einwandfrei.
Vom Aussteigen aus dem Flugzeug über das Abholen meines Gepäcks bis hin zu den Einreiseformalitäten hat alles zusammen etwa eine halbe Stunde gedauert.

Mit der Metro hatte ich keine großen Probleme, da sie ähnlich wie in China ist, und ich war kurz nach meiner Ankunft im Hostel dort.
Dort traf ich endlich Peter wieder.
Wir erzählten uns, was wir im letzten Monat erlebt hatten, erkundeten abends ein wenig Tokio und spielten schließlich Mario Kart bei uns zu Hause.
