It’s stopped raining but is still dreary and overcast. We are staying here for the rest of the afternoon and night, so time for some lunch and more reading. Life is tough.

Kingfisher Bay

This is the main resort on Fraser Island and it has good Anchorage space. We will come back here tomorrow night. Apparently there are fantastic pizzas here but we don’t have a tender yet so can’t Czytaj więcej
PodróżnikWe have bought a 35 ft Hanse mono hull, Ali. It’s very new for me and I’m still getting my sea legs and confidence but Steve knows what he’s doing. Thank God!😀🥰
PodróżnikLooks great Gabi and congrats. We’ve just sold our 22 ft trailer sailor after 12 yrs for a caravan and had lots of great adventures over the years. Bit of a change for now, but will probably go back sailing in the future. (Something bigger). Loving your adventure and totally understand you’re still getting your sea legs. I think I still am!!!!

Had a lovely couple of hours walking up and down the beach, having a coffee and ice cream and generally enjoying the physical exercise after two days on the boat. The weather is still a bit windy and Czytaj więcej

Today we had a beautiful day sailing in pretty much perfect conditions. The straits were a millpond last night so we slept like little babies. We had a spectacular show from about a hundred garfish Czytaj więcej

We had a lovely last day, beginning with a restful and relaxing brekkie and slowly making our way back to Tin Can Bay. We were able to sail for about 2/3 of the trip and are beginning to work together Czytaj więcej
