Today we spent the day with Brother Brian and the Coventry East meeting. Couldn’t ask for a more welcoming and hospitable group. It never grows old the feeling of being able to fellowship with those of our faith on the other side of the globe, hear a talk on the prophecies of Daniel and receive words of encouragement. What a blessing our faith is that transcends time or distance. Met so many that had connections with Australia which was wonderful including Steve Hughes’ cousin Hazel which was great!
We then went for lunch at The blue Pig a 600 year old Pub where the local families meet for Sunday roast complete with Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese.
What a nice day spent chatting to Uncle Brian who obviously takes great joy in entertaining and ensuring our every comfort is met.
Very grateful for our relatively restful day, some piano singing, cups of tea and toast and interesting conversations. Looking forward to our last few days of adventures.
