    Day 3 of my Holy Land Pilgrimage began with a 2 hour bus trip to Caesarea which was run by King Herod back In Jesus’ time. Here I saw some amazing Roman ruins such as an amphitheater, hippodrome (chariot track) and the foundations of King Herod’s Palace. His pool was still able to be seen in the ruins of his palace, as well as the room where they believed he held Peter after he was arrested. After that I went and viewed the ruins of the Roman aqueducts that fed Caesarea it’s water. This place was unbelievable!Read more
