Zippori

The city of Zippori in Jesus’ time was a great city built by King Herod. It also became a templer fort at one stage in its history. Here we sure 1st century Roman ruins of the town such as their market place. They also had a Roman mansion or villa with a very intact mosaic. This allowed historians to figure out that the villa was owned by a very rich man because of the detail in the mosaic.
