Mount Nebo

Our second stop on the way to Amman was Mount Nebo. This is where Moses stood and viewed the promise land where his people would go and live. He was not allowed to go though because he had disobeyed what god told him to do so his punishment was not being able to go to the promise land. It is believed he was buried on Mount Nebo but then aren’t sure where. The church is owned by the Fransican Order and has been revamped to show off the beautiful mosaics.Läs mer
