    We decided to spend the night on the beach just outside of La Paz based on a recommendation from a fellow traveler we met in San Ignacio. The camp spot was perfect, beautiful sunset … however we awoke to a raging wind / stand storm at midnight. It was a steady 20 mph gusting up to 35 mph. It whipped up so much sand that Shaun had to wear his motorcycle goggles in his tent 😂. Needless to say, we did not get much sleep that night. We decided To skip making breakfast since the wind was still blowing 15 mph and headed to La Paz. La Paz has a lovely water front and almost no resorts which I really like.
