After a long but uneventful trip from Seattle to Paris via Iceland, I made a whirlwind tour of Paris while I waited for Tracey and Sonia to return from their day long tour of the Champagne region with copious tasting involved. Paris is beautiful city and amazingly walkable. They have greatly expanded the accommodation for bicycles and scooters in the city but I still am too terrified to give it a go.Read more

Caught the TGV to Lyon and then rented a car. We almost died raving a tram down the tracks and made many wrong turns ... so confusing. Anyway, headed up in to the Alps and stayed at this beautiful cafe that has three guest rooms. The dinner was spectacular and the rooms were fantastic.Read more

Cassis!

Arrived in the beautiful coastal city of Cassis in the South Of France. We are staying in this lovely apartment with the most stunning view of the town. Walk in for dinner and a walkabout. Walking back up was rough, especially after a bottle of wine 😂Read more
TravelerThat walk uphill feels 3-4x as long after dinner and wine. Always.
