5-Tage Tour Orkney Isles Tag 5

Am letzen Tag der Reise haben wir viele kleine Stopps entlang des Rückweges nach Edinburgh gemacht und habe die wunderschöne und beeindruckende Natur Schottlands bewundern können.

Der Corrieshalloch Gorge war wieder wunderschön und im strahlenden Sonnenschein einfach atemberaubend anzusehen.

Um die Mittagszeit waren wir in Culloden. Dort hat Willie (unser Guide) und über das Feld geführt und uns viel über die Jakobitekriege, Culloden und was danach passiert erzählt.

Anschließend bin ich ins angeschlossene Museum gegangen und habe noch weitere Informationen gelesen.

Danach habe wir bei Balnuaran of Clava halt gemacht. Man sieht standing stones und Gebäude aus Stein. Ähnlich denen auf Orkney.

Später haben wir noch bei Ruthven Barracks halt gemacht. Die Ruine einer Festung aus dem 18. Jahrhundert.

Es war eine sehr interessante, lustige und spannende Reise. Ich habe viel mehr gesehen und erlebt als erwartet. Ich hatte eine grandiose Zeit!

On the last day of the trip we made many small stops along the way back to Edinburgh and were able to admire the beautiful and impressive nature of Scotland.

The Corrieshalloch Gorge was again beautiful and in the bright sunshine just breathtaking to look at.

Around noon we were in Culloden. There Willie (our guide) and led us over the field and told us a lot about the Jacobite wars, Culloden and what happened afterwards.

Afterwards I went to the attached museum and read some more information.

After that we stopped at Balnuaran of Clava. You can see standing stones and buildings made of stone. Similar to those on Orkney.

Later we stopped at Ruthven Barracks. The ruins of a fortress from the 18th century.

It was a very interesting, fun and exciting trip. I saw and experienced much more than expected. I had a terrific and amazing time!Read more
