    It's Lu's birthday today so we caught a tram to check out the cake situation and to try and buy a SIM card ( no luck).
    After a leisurely wander around the old town with lots of other tourists we went to a wonderful old coffee shop called Demel. It was packed and a queue at the door but we were in quite quickly. Old oil paintings, chandeliers, marble tables and velvet seats were a good setting for sachertorte and Dory cake ( Choc mousse cake).
    At four the Dunne clan joined us for a birthday tea at our apartment where we had sachertorte, Esterhazy cake, beesting cake, stollen and Mozart chocolates. Sugar coma!    Read more
