Fri 30th March - Night Train

A better nights sleep 🛌and rose to a beatiful sunrise🌅 over a vast landscape. An early breakfast - full English and our first sightings of the day of Kangaroos and Emus. An ever-changing landscape gave us more Emus until we arrived at Cook on the Nullarbor Plain for a short stretch of the legs whilst the train took on water. We also had to fend off the army of flies 🐝 that were waiting for us here.

Treated ourselves to early afternoon reward for dealing with the flies. G&Ts .
Then after continuing along the plain, no camel 🐫sightings 😕, and crossing yet another time zone 🕟we arrived at Rawlinna to enjoy an evening meal under the stars by the light of a full moon 🌕 at this sheep shearing station.
