Sun 8th April- Goin Home's A Lonely Ride

Flight departs 2305 so a bit of a doldrum day ahead Happy and Sad. Looking forward 😀 to seeing Allen Pengelly trio 👨‍👩‍👧 but sad 😔 to be putting so much distance between us and Suzie🙎‍♀️.

Turn up for the books thought today was going to be a long day. Last day of holiday departing at 2305 but been pretty damn good. With Christy Moore songs and Slightly Musical cover Wagon Wheel ringing in our ears from last refreshment stop in Perth.

Late morning enjoyed a tour of Perth Mint and found out what our weights in pure gold were........ priceless.... before setting off early afternoon for another tour off Perth' waterfront and city sights.

First on our walk a refreshment stop at Barrack St Quay followed by Salt & Pepper Squid at the Oyster Bar and a glass of sav blanc.

Then onto The Grosvenor for a bottle of wine and a pizza to fuel the journey home. It was here we bumped into a live band playing tunes mainly with an irish/folk feel before setting of for the airport and the trek home.
