Florence

We made it to Florence in Tuscany today - a bucket list place based on reputation, although after arriving, we are not really sure what the fuss is all about.

Its main sights are great, but it is the surrounding countryside that we are really looking forward to seeing tomorrow.

We had a good walk around and saw Florence Cathedral, Giotti's Bell Tower, Signora Square, Palazzo Vecchio and the Gallery of the Academy, where we successfully fought our way through the Asian tour groups taking selfies to the front of the room, to have a good look at Michelangelo's 'David', the most famous statue in the world, and it was worth it.Baca selengkapnya
