We drove to the city for breakfast. The restaurant we wanted had an hour’s wait so we went next door and it was tasty.
We then headed down to Potter’s Marsh, at the top of the Kenai Peninsula. We spent some time walking around the reserve but there wasn’t a lot of wildlife to be seen.
We continued south, stopping at Beluga Point where we saw some Dall sheep. We drove down as far as Girdwood and the filled the side road to the Alyeaska Resort. We were going to catch the cable car up the mountain but it was too expensive. Instead we drove back to downtown Anchorage and had a look around the shops.
We then popped into Walmart for last minute essentials and new headphones to replace my broken ones, before going back to the hotel to finish sorting everything out.Read more
