Big Sur

After breakfast we piled into the car and headed towards the Big Sur. Our first stop was Los Lobos reserve (after deciding we didn’t want to go). We walked along the cliff tops and beaches looking at the ocean and wildlife.

We continued south stopping at various viewing spots along the way until we reached the River Inn, where we stopped for lunch.

After lunch we continued south as far as Lucia, where the road was closed for the landslide. We then turned around and drove back to Monterey. We called at Trader Joes again for a few extra supplies and had another shared meal in the evening.Read more
