La Fortuna to Monte Verde

After breakfast our shuttle picked us up at 8am. Thank goodness I asked to sit in the front as the road was rough and windy. After 3.5 hours we arrived in Monteverde and were dropped off at the accommodation.

Rosie, the owner of the house greeted us and showed us everything. There was a slight language barrier but we managed.

Once we were settled in we walked up to the town for supplies and to figure out how to get to the cloud forest tomorrow.

We spent the afternoon trying to figure out the house sitter problem and had dinner in as we had a kitchen.Read more
