Yala Block 1 and around

Up early again and pre safari tea at 5.15am. We headed out at 5.30am and went for a drive around Block 1. On the road in we saw another python. We didn’t really see a lot but there was a Leopard 🐆 in a tree. After about 3 hours we left the park and returned to camp to relax.

At lunchtime we went back up the steep stairs and then waited and waited. Eventually lunch was served around 2.30pm. It was the same lunch as day 1 and we scoffed it all because we were so hungry.

In the afternoon we hung out in the tent reading and doing a bit of laundry.

In the evening we went for dinner, excepting the worst and were pleasantly surprised by a Sri Lankan meal. Finally going to bed full!Baca lagi
