Hanging out in Kathmandu

We are enjoying our not-so-busy time in Kathmandu - especially our neighbourhood, which is a stomach-churning 40 minute drive from the main tourist area, but is easy walking distance to several fun places, including a beautiful part of Shivapuri National Park (more next post). We have been lucky to meet a Canadian family with the last name Malcolm, and an American family with the last name Dale. And of course, it is a delight to just spend time with our host family. Time will start to really speed up soon, as we approach the last 2 months of our trip... so I am glad for the slow pace here and now. - LaraLæs mere
