Slow-venian storybook country

We visited rural Slovenia today. Our friend Nevenka introduced us to her cousins, Jože and Tonči, and their daughter Tina. They hosted us in their quiet vineyard in Mali Cirnik, and treated us to delicious traditional Slovenian food and drink - all completely homegrown on their farm and homemade in their kitchen! Nevenka, Nana and Tony slept with the kids in a 300 year old cottage with a straw roof. We walked to the local church, and watched the clouds and rain drift by. Right out of a storybook!Weiterlesen
