Yankees VS Baltimore

Ava and I arrived to 161 St Yankee Stadium and I assumed to follow the crowd wearing the Yankees jersey… nope clearly my lesson learnt as I have always believed and told people be a leader not a follower… seriously the exits on all the subways are ridiculously confusing.
We eventually arrived and found a see of people.
We missed the start of the game but heard the excitement… upon entering the stadium I could not believe the enormity and the crowd.
We sat in our seats but we began to melt as the weather was 35*C… so we moved up to the top and observed the division and hate between the Yankees and Baltimore… a little bit like Saints and Manly!
We decided to leave after an hour as the crowd drank and threw things at one another I wasn’t prepared to go the full distance with Ava especially assuming the exit to the stadium would be crazy… one of the Yankee fans yelled this to his daughter “get excited child we are at a Yankees game not a funeral!”
We really did not want to hang around to see what the Yankees fans would be like if they lost… needless to say I am happy I followed my gut feeling as they lost…5-17!Read more
