Durnsrein/ Wachau/ Melk

Left Durnstein at lunchtime. Cruising through the Wachau Valley to Melk. Ainsley and a group of bikers are actually biking through the valley to meet us at Melk. Too hot for me....and too bloody unfit so I sat in the pool on the deck and watched her bike past. Arrived at Melk about 4pm and did a quick walking tour through the town and around the famous Melk Abby.. originally owned by Bavarian count Sizzo who gifted it to the Benedictine monks when they moved to Venice to live.
