    Casa Mateus Mansion

    We left Porto today with our first stop at the Casa Mateus Mansion. The three primary buildings are the manor, the winery, and the chapel, constructed in the 18th century by Antonio Jose Botelho Mauruo. Although the family still lives there today, we were allowed to explore a few of the rooms. The gardens were beautiful, with many many workers tending to the different areas.Read more
