    With the change in wind direction to easterlies the chance to head west was upon us, which meant we must use it to head back and to accept the moment had passed to make it across to Turku or Helsinki and then get back in the given timescale. (Some other time hopefully)
    Arriving in the evening here due to the nasty rain storm that went through Karlby in the morning, which had most of us waiting for it to clear. The long motor sail was bright but cooler, which had me back in 3 coats whilst Ron had his 3 navigational friends Ray, Lennie & Sammy to help confirm the route through the outlying skerries in southern Äland.

    A peaceful anchorage and early night in readiness for our crossing to Sweden tomorrow.
