• Sunset, cocktails & calling it a day...

    December 28, 2021 in Mauritius ⋅ ☁️ 25 °C

At around 4:15 p.m. Akash dropped us back at the hotel. There was an additional charge for overtime beyond eight hours, which hadn’t been mentioned earlier. Still, without much discussion, we paid it and headed back to our room.

After freshening up from a long and activity-filled day, we stepped out to the hotel’s private beach area to catch the sunset. For about half an hour, we walked along the shore, soaking in the golden hues of the setting sun and capturing plenty of photos along the way.

In the evening, while relaxing, we planned for the next day. I tried booking a scuba diving experience through Viator, but no slots were available. With nothing confirmed, we decided to explore the southern beaches instead, influenced by the scenic drive along the southern coast earlier in the day. After discussing with the hotel staff, we booked a cab for the next day that would take us to the places we had shortlisted.

At dinner, Dinnoo surprised us by offering complimentary cocktails, which made the evening even more special. After enjoying a full-course along with the drinks, we called it a day.
