House arrest - day 39

Last of the warm sunny days for a while we are told. Started the day with the Whick family skype call – lasted almost an hour, everyone in fine spirits. Did some outside jobs today – cleaned the patio (and found a hidden message – see photo) and cleaned some of the downstairs windows (ironically on Monday morning we got a text from the window cleaner saying he was coming on Monday). Afternoon exercise for Lynette and the girls was a lovely walk on Horsell Common – I dropped them off in the Audi and collected them in the Merc so getting two cars some miles. In between I did a 23km bike ride down to Burntcommon . Lovely Sunday roast cooked by Lynette. We popped out for an hour to collect a bike for Claire which we spotted on Facebook. Needs quite a lot of TLC but it was free, the work will commence this week.Læs mere
