House arrest - day 52

Second day of the long weekend and the weather was just amazing. In fact it was too hot to sit in the sun in the afternoon and I sought out the shade to relax. Morning bike ride today – just over 22km to Walton Bridge and back via Weybridge. Lovely day and lots of other folk out running and cycling. Cycled back past our favourite pub, the Old Crown on the banks of the Thames in Weybridge. Looking lovely with lots of baskets of flowers outside but rather sad and forlorn die to being shut now for almost 7 weeks. Evening meal was a BBQ – chicken kebabs and spicy lamb skewers.Leia mais
