Dorset May 2021

After a lovely cooked breakfast - full English for me and Avocado on toast for Lynette we set off to visit Montacute House. About 50m up the rouad the car gave a warning that a tyre was low in pressure. Seems like we picked upa small puncture when we hit a pothole yesterday afternoon. We inflated the tyre and drove into Dorchester to a tyre repaairer - they found the puncture but it couldnt be repaired as it was on the sidewall. So, we filled the tyre with "goo" to seal it and then drove to Mercedes to buy a replacement goo. Seems to be working ok, fingers crossed. After that lot we went to Bridport for a few hours - nice old town with a market and live music. We had lunch there and then went to West Bay on the coast where the sun cam out. yay! After that drove back to our pub. Off out tonight for a meal in a nice old thatched cottage.Read more
