Gorillas in the Mist

Wow ! What an experience today! We hiked 2 hours through the forest to see a family of 20 Silverback gorillas. Amazing! Words escape me but maybe the pictures will give some sense of the adventure.

What an amazing opportunity to be so close to these beautiful creatures. I assume the mask is for the protection of the gorillas.
TravelerHi Julie. The Mountain Gorillas share 98% of our DNA. They can get our colds and flus. We were required to wear masks when near them.
