Port Medoc, south bank of La Gironde

OK so sight change of plan, it was very blowy yesterday Thursday, so although calmer today John thought sea still likely to be bumpy so we only came across the river mouth to Port Medoc near Verdon sur Mer. We are heading to Spain tomorrow fingers crossed. This is a modern, purpose built marina but a bit isolated. We did our washing there was no laundromat at Royan and walked to town went back this eve for tea, delicious meal from shack along bank of creek pictures not great but here you go.Read more
