Today we decided to take the dinghy to town, it was a spring low so all the various mud and sand banks were visible as well as lots of birds, we saw a stork, egrets, spoonbills, curlews and lots of different gulls.
When we got to town we realised it was market day with lots of extra fruit and veg stools. The local produce seems to focused on bees there was wax, honey, honey cake, pollen and liqueur. Also a lot of pomegranates and woven baskets. After a little shopping and wandering around we decided to stay for lunch before heading back to offload the shopping and to go to the beach.Read more
