So from Isla de Canela we cruise to Mazagon where we did nothing more exciting than some shopping. Then on to Rota in the Bay of Cadiz it was a lovely day so we traveled a little further than normal. On Sunday we took a ferry to Cadiz and wandered around, the history bit is on a Peninsula so nowhere is too far away. We visited the cathedral with the yellow done and the tower. There was an audio guide which was great but a little too heavy on details, the cathedral had 10chapels and the guide told you in detail about each one, including every picture, statue and benefactor. It also told you about the main cathedral and choir, wooden carved seating, which were stunning and the underlying crypt where a famous Cadiz poet called Jose de Falla is buried (with some other people). I took a photo of the theatre named after him as proof. There is also a photo of where we had our late Lunch.Les mer
