Ronda

We took the bus, well 2 buses to go to Ronda up,in the hills elevation 738m apparently. Local Bus trip was the traumatic part as although we arrived at the stop early the bus was very late and proceeded to do a couple of out and back legs on the way to the main station, we arrived with 1 minute to spare and still had to buy the tickets but we needn't have worried the coach from Torremolenos to Seville via Ronda was also late. After a small diversion via San Pedro we headed up into the hills gradually making our winding way. 75 mins later and we were there, just a 5 min stroll to the 'new bridge' over the 120m gorge, that takes you to the old town. As you can see there was some stunning scenery, we visited the local museum to read about the history of Ronda and also something they call the mine.
We did a lot of walking while in Ronda, we walked all the way down New Bridge and back up as well as to Old Bridge and to the Roman bridge which was in fact Moorish which was next to the Moorish baths.En savoir plus
