Baggege drop-off, farm life and tanks??

After dropping off most of my stuff in my new home in Oxford, we drove to Longthorn Farm. A beautiful farm in Bovington, that is known for breeding alpacas!! AND the guests can take them for walks threw the forest! As we missed signing up for the walk, we decided that we might return on the way back to Oxford.
We were told that we might be woken up by tanks in the morning, as a military training area was next to the farm, as well as a tank museum. Max (obviously) was super excited!Read more

Breaky, Rye and Stud Farm

After a proper breakfast and an old sock ice- cream for Torpedo, we briefly stopped in the cute fishermen town called Rye. In the evening we camped at Stud Farm, a rather hidden gem in a town of only approx. 50 inhabitants. We had the greatest view overlooking the ocean 🌊.

-> as I have been a bit lazy with my phone, I haven’t uploaded footprints frequently/ timely. Sorry about that (but at the same time not so sorry, as it is nice not to be hanging over that thing constantly 😁)Read more

Made it to England

Yesterday we spent a few hours at the beach 🏖.
In the evening we decided to plan our next steps and encountered that the ferry from Hoek van Holland would take 6,5 hrs... (we are that spontaneous 😜). We thought that Torpedo wouldn’t be too happy to have his first boat trip stuck in a box for that long. So we drove down to Calais and took the ferry (2hrs) to Dover. Torpedo still didn’t like it, so I think we made the right decision. We ended up at a campground in a town called Lydd to spend the night... I can tell you... we noticed we were in England the second we got out of the car. It is freezing (and of course rainy). Tomorrow, we will try to leave my household at my new home so we have more space in the car. (In one the pictures you can see why that would be helpful).Read more

First stop Zeeland

We started our journey this morning, not knowing where we would end up today. We decided to drive to the beach somewhere in the Netherlands and landed in the province Zeeland. As soon as Torpedo saw the beach, it once again became clear that Max had picked the right name for him! 😃 He is a happy dog in general, but the beach lets every dog go bananas. 😁Read more
