    Everyone was so happy that the flight was about to land in-time.. But the devil of troubles was just sitting behind saying.. "Not so fast. .. " And the flight was delayed for landing.     After a long long long road trip with all that traffic and motion sickness, we finally reached our first stay.. The hotel at which we stayed was wonderful. It was right in front of huge green mountains. No one was really in a mood to take any pics..as they were all damn hungry... Uhhh.. I was too 😝..... After our "Linner" break.. which was like between lunch and dinner.. We started planning on kedarnath hiking trip. We decided to get the entire hiking and darshan completed within same day.     Kedarnath darshan

    Woahhh.. It was super cold up there at kedarnath summit. We could hardly see anything as it was too foggy and cloudy. The oxygen level was comparatively low. But no give-up. We continued our walk till the temple. We were lucky enough to get the darshan real quick which wouldn't be possible during pilgrimage season. Time was rushing as we had to get down by dawn. We underestimated the down hiking path. We thought it would be real easy and quick to get down to ground but things were different when we actually reached down.     After we reached our hotel, we had few booking issues, thanks to oyo and mmt for that. However we did manage to sort that. Had good rest there and we were ready and charged up next day to explore the town. I must say, the town was beautiful and full of nature. Lots of things you can shop..     A beautiful waterfall from the mountains. We surely never wanted to miss this place. It's highly recommended to use stairpath instead of rope way. Lots and lots of attractive things to window shop at cheap prices.Read more

    Mussourie - Buddha Temple

    This was my so-required wish, which went fulfilled when I visited this place. The best thing we experienced here was serenity and calmness which seemed so natural. I managed to get a selfie with a Buddhist monk 😊 After this, we rushed to local mussourie market for some window shopping and then had some fun and jamming in evening at the hotel.Read more

    We reached rishikesh in no time. It was unexpected. Everyone got their rooms and all were set for sightseeing after a short lunch. We started walking towards the ghat. I still remember how everyone's mood got instantly changed when they saw the flow of goddess ganga. It was so blissful. We were lucky enough to witness the holy ganga aarti. After the aarti, we started exploring the town and did some window shopping too.Read more

    Rishikesh - Town Exploration

    They said that the early morning view of ganga ghat is tremendous, so I didn't want to avoid this occasion. I got up early, which I never do usually and headed towards ganga ghat. I was awestruck by the view. No words could really describe those emotions. After an hour or so.. We were set to explore the town.     This place was something that happened to everyone who visited. It was an orphanage. A great place where the children are learning things like rain water harvesting, biogas energy, generation of energy through water, meditation, energy healing and lots of other things. This guy named Oynak manages everything there. He's really doing a tremendous job. I'll make sure I visit this place again if I ever go to rishikesh.Read more

    Rishikesh - Gurudwara and Beatles Ashram

    We were now ready to head towards haridwar but before that, it was mandate to visit these two places. The holiness was at its best in gurudwara, cannot describe it. We paid pilgrimage to guru and ate the holy food at langar. Simply awesome. Then we went to visit the ashram of my all time favorite band.. The Beatles ashram. It is said that they stayed there and learned meditation. They wrote songs there. It was an amazing experience.Read more

    Back to Delhi

    We got off from the train.. This time it was a sleeper class. I think everyone was awake the entire night.. 🤣 Can't trust sleeper class coaches. So then we headed towards the hotel for some rest and breakfast. And then we hauled to the city for some shopping. Uuhhh.. Actually women's shopping 😒 Then we headed for the airport and with a heavy heart, we said goodbye to our entire trip.

    We weren't returning empty hands, we had collected a lot of memories with ourselves. Memories for life 😊    Read more
