    Kilkeny

    September 11, 2017 in Ireland ⋅ ☀️ 14 °C

Streets of Kilkeny. We parked and walked to the Castle. The cafes with outside seating had blankets on the chairs to use. Found some charity shops, no treasures yet. Us at a pub. The umbrellas were an entrance to an outside mall. It made me smile! :)Read more

Getting ready to take the Guinness Tour. We weren't sure if we were on the right train and this lovely lady, Sheila, helped us. She said she would take us all the way to Guinness if she wasn't meeting a friend! Everybody is so nice! Guinness horses!🐴 This is Molly 🤗Read more

  • Bunratty Castle & Folk Park

    September 13, 2017 in Ireland ⋅ ⛅ 12 °C

We have been here all day! I thought the castle was pretty small and wouldn't take long to look at but the folk park is a village! So walking through the whole thing, going through all the farm houses, visiting with the animals, and look at all the flowers, well, puts us at ALL DAY! 😄 Plus the heavy spiratic showers of rain in which we had to look for cover because we haven't caught on to the spiratic rainfall by day 3 and left the umbrellas in the car! 😂🌂Read more

  • Bunratty Castle & Folk Park

    September 13, 2017 in Ireland ⋅ ⛅ 12 °C

Just a few more pics...I love all the animals and flowers. We took a break and I had a hot chocolate and Terrance has a hot toddy. With all of the vitamin c, T has been taking leading up to this trip (and getting on me for not taking mine), he's a little sick (I'm not😋). A hot toddy is whiskey, hot water, lemon, and cloves. It tasted like hot cough syrup!😫 Terrance thinks we should just take pics of my face every time I try a new drink!😅 I found my chunky sweater! Even after I bought it I couldn't decide if it was really the one I wanted😧 I don't think the sales lady was too happy with me but I didn't originally want a zipper. Well, it's mine now! And I do like it, I just have my issues 🙃 Oh! And Terrance finally found the origin of the Hurley name!Read more

  • Bunratty Castle & Folk Park

    September 13, 2017 in Ireland ⋅ ⛅ 13 °C

The O'Hurleys storming the castle! T trying to climb the wall! And then slipped on the wet grass right after I took the picture. So in the dungeon he goes! If you lived here you wouldn't need any exercise equipment. The stairs are crazy in this place. Narrow and steep. They put in hand rails but we were trying to imagine no rails and the guards in their armor! Craziness! And Roxy, I want this table for family dinner! 😄Read more

We are walking around the park and noticed we missed the piggery! We couldn't not see the piggies! 🐷🐽So Cute! And random goat. Did I mention that the evening tasked pave in the corn barn?! 🌽Read more

What we were watching in the Corn Barn. Plus what Adrienne will eat under peer presure! We had to sit with other people. It was very uncomfortable. The only thing questionable was the salad but I lived! 😄 I had Salmon and T had Lamb Stew 🐑🙁😢Read more

  • Cliffs of Moher

    September 14, 2017 in Ireland ⋅ ⛅ 14 °C

Exciting day at the Cliffs of Moher! Just absolutely beautiful! I took 145 pictures of the Cliffs and the drive to Galway. These pics are on the way to the Cliffs and at the Cliffs. See anything of particular interest? The hotel was on the way to the Cliffs but I don't know exactly the town name. The houses are so adorable and the drive is so pretty. Here, of, course, are just a few. . .Read more

  • Cliffs of Moher

    September 14, 2017 in Ireland ⋅ ☀️ 11 °C

Some more pics of the Cliffs and a few of the drive to Galway. All of the rock walls are so neat. They are everywhere. And the maintenance of everything. People are always cleaning and really taking care of the whole island. The towns are adorable and so full of character.Read more

  • Cart Witnessing in Galway

    September 15, 2017 in Ireland ⋅ ⛅ 10 °C

Wish we got to do this but we were just happy to see the friends! We could actually see them from our hotel room window😄 The sisters were from the East Galway Congregation. One of them moved here from Vancouver, Canada with her roommate. It's easy for Canadians to come. Under the age of 30 they can stay here for 2 years or until they turn 30. We also met a couple in the Polish Group and a couple from the Romanian Group. A Polish brother provided plastic covers for all of the literature on the cart for protection from the weather. And yes, they stand out there, even in the rain!😄Read more

  • Field Service In Galway!

    September 16, 2017 in Ireland ⋅ ⛅ 11 °C

So we were late to the service meeting but were able to find a nice couple to take us out. I even got invited in to a lovely ladie's house and got to witness to her in front of a warm fire! And we met new friends! Pretty great day!Read more

That's what the picture is all about, us evacuating😄. We went to Achill Island where we found a little beach.Read more

  • The Rope Bridge

    September 18, 2017 in Northern Ireland ⋅ ⛅ 13 °C

This is 7 miles from Giant's Causeway. You drive there but then have to walk to where the bridge is. It's quite a trail but it's beautiful. The water is so green! I didn't do the rope bridge, which was made to get to where the salmon are, but T did. It was still worth the trek for the views.Read more
