Day 10 cairns to Normanton

Long day on the bike, over 700k’s out of cairns we headed up through the hills (Gillies Range road) WOW, forget the tail of the dragon! and the views where to die for! Over the top onto the Atherton table lands and the temperature is rising. Today peaked at 39°Celsius. Fuel stop at Georgetown (the halfway mark) and lunch. Then the last push to our abode for the night in Normanton. I’ve never been happier to see a pool than tonight lmao. It was huge and cool.
