Well, today was truly miserable weather wise. It put a slight damper on our activities.
We went to Loch Ness today and I rambled all over Urquhart Castle. It was fairly grey, and the wind was whipping. I huffed and puffed as I climbed the tower and then went down to the gift shop , bought some earrings and had a cup of warming tea in the cafe.

We then had a picnic near a cute bridge and waterfall. I tried and liked some very dark beer called Black Gold, made a piggy out of myself by inhaling Scottish cheese and then drank some Iron Bru which is a pop that tastes like liquid bubble gum. Apparently it's great for hangovers.

We had a half hearted visit to Glencoe, the weather was just so bad by then. We arrived at Oban, had a terrific group dinner where a talented gentleman played a box accordion and sang Scottish Folk songs. All of us were able to warble along to Loch Lomond. Our B&B was a five minute walk from town , right on the water. We definitely got blown about on the walk home. It was an adventure!
