Another amaaaaazing town.
The morning started with us feeling much better and we thought we had it all sorted on how to get the train to Segovia. So we headed off to nearby train station and bought a return ticket into Charmartin to catch a connecting speed train to Segovia. We decided to do this instead of drive, because our homework told us to NOT drive. Our homework also told us that trains go every hour and take 30mins.
Well that didn’t happen - long weekend in Spain and you needed to book the train in advance!!
So we turned around , returned on train, jumped in car and drove!!! Best decision ever!! Found a dirt patch to park ( free) and spent 6 hours exploring this city. Castles, churches, winding streets and all things Christmas.Read more
