    Well folks, after 3,340km all good things must come to an end. We had a leisurely day today driving across from Griffith NSW to Griffith ACT. We came across on Burley Griffin Way through a number of small villages and towns: Binya, Barellan (tennis great Evonne Goolagong's hometown), Ardlethan, Temora, Harden, Binalong and Yass. We had lunch at Temora and visited the Aviation Museum. Gary was eager to see their example of a CAC Sabre which his friend James Elsbury successfully ejected from on 16 Mar 71. Unfortunately, James passed away in 2022 from cancer related to his military service.
    We had a great time and would recommend a "Back of Bourke" tour to anyone who would like to explore the NSW Outback. Speaking of which our Subaru Outback performed flawlessly, though Mr Tom Tom (Subaru's GPS supplier) needs to spend less time in the office and more time exploring our great continent - at times he had no idea where we were! Sigh. Till the next tour......
