Sundays, Sunrises and Safaris🦩🍦🌅🎅🏼

Hey guys it’s day 49!! 👋🏼

Kickstarted the day at 5am🥱ready for sunrise safari ! Here’s us in the jeep watching the sunrise🌅. The drivers chosen footwear made me laugh…nice and safe!

Saw some incredible animals, flamingoes, toucans, crocodiles and loads of elephants! 🐘🦩🐊
Had a break from our 5 hour safari with breakfast such an incredible view, we are so lucky🫶🏼.

Got back to our hotel for lunch… more lentil daal with our hands👋🏼. Waved goodbye to our luxurious room for the night and hopped back in the bus for a ride back to Unawatuna.

Got back to fund my bunk bed had been replaced with a huge double bed - I’m not complaining😁. There was a festival in the temple near our house over the weekend, look how pretty our walk to dinner was 🕯. Had dinner followed by a trip to the ice cream parlour🍦.

Finished the day with a tour round Jules and Wenkas prison of a room😂 and a group film sesh (Holidate) to get us in the Christmas sprint🎄🎅🏼. What a great day! 💛Read more
