Sepilok - Sandakan

Highlight was going to the Sepilok Orangutang Sanctuary. We got so lucky and saw a mum and her baby literally outside the centre which was so special. Inside I saw the massive alpha male on the feeding platform along with so many more. He charged through the centre and created massive commotion which was funny. The nursery was also so cute. The work they do there was so amazing I almost shed a tear during the briefing at the start. I went for the afternoon session of the sanctuary. Before that, went to the sun bear reserve which was really cool, just two viewing platforms to see the bears that have been rescued from illegal trade or bad treatment.
