• An evening with Buffalo

    In the early evening we are looking for a decent campground for the night. The Juniper campground in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park was right around the corner. I was very worried, because there are no reservations, first come, first serve. There was no need for worries, we got a spot easily. The camp host was preparing us for the lokal wildlife.
    Minutes after we set up the tent, I heard a weird noise, and a huge herd of Buffalo strolled around our tentside. After we realized they were really calm and relaxed, we continued setting up the tent.
    They stayed relaxed for a couple of hours and left somewhere else for the night. But for us, it was a very incredible experience.
