    A row of Oranger des Osages near the train station in Troyes. ..5 bus journeys to reach Châlons-en-Champagne, via Romilly Sur Seine & Troyes. Firstly, Iwalked along the old Roman Road, Via Agrippa (now rue de la Marne) in Chalons en Champagne. Crossed the Marne river, canal Lateral (then journied along the Roman road Via Agrippa (now rue de la Marne) to the centre of the city known for champagne, circus ( Cirque du Soleil) and home of French Croix Rouge ( Red Cross).
    It was a garrison city during WW1, rail hub and hospital which received 35,000 injured soldiers in 2 weeks between September-October 1915. Home to Marnay many footprints, blisters and 10 bus journies.
