• GLACIAR PERITO MORENO

    18 dicembre 2017, Argentina ⋅ ⛅ 6 °C

Standing on front of a wall out of ice with all the shiny blue craters that‘s up to 70 meters high is kinda impressive, the sound of the glacier even more, especially when big chunks of ice split off and fall into the lake. Perito Moreno is the third biggest glaciar in Southamerica and part of the Southpatagonian icefield. And it‘s advancing - that’s unfortunately very rare today.
It‘s worth the visit for sure, but there are (of course) too many annoying tourists and after walking along the stunning Glaciar Grey all by myself in Torres del Paine Nationalpark just 3 days ago, it‘s hard to be even more impressed.
