    When getting up this morning, the sun was finally shining all over. We had yet to do a hike in the area as we couldn't do so because of the rain. So we decided to drive a bit to the southern part. There is a small hill called Errisbeg. It looked quite easy, but we had yet to avoid leaving the track. On our way back, we got a bit lost. But from the top of Errisbeg, we had this wonderful view from above. From here you can see that the southern part of Connemara looks more like a sponge. Its actually full of small lakes. I saw them already on the topo map before. Then, turning your head 180° around, you see a beautiful peninsula looking like a hammer.Read more
