The Olgas - Katja Tjuta

After visiting the Rock and watching people descend from the climb we headed to the Olgas. In respect for the Aboriginal people you are asked not to do the climb. We decided not to for a number of reasons. 1. Respect, 2. Heat, 3. Not Capable. The climb is closed if the temperature is expected to reach over 34 deg. Today is 37. The Olgas are some 40 kms away from the rock and we found the road to be in an indirect route. It could have been obtained on a more direct route.Read more
