Mirool

Come across the tiny town of Marool of the main road. Free camped opposite the Royal Hotel. Facilities were good and clean. The pub, the food and it inhabitants were awesome. We stayed for a few bevies and a meal. We believe in putting money into small businesses/towns, so they will hopefully be there for others to enjoy. No money, they end up closing down. AS if it wasn't grand enough outside you opened the door to the bar and as you look around, it was early 1900's beautiful pressed metal ceilings with ornate metal cornices, subway tiles around the walls. The Silos opposite are known as the sight, where Billy Brownless, once kicked a football over the silos. Also what was once used a the local fire fighting equipment, was parked up on the hill.Leggi altro
