The ferry and an old friend reunion

Uneventful ferry ride from Tssawassen to Nanaimo - other than the panic that the guy two cars in front of us must have felt as his car wouldn’t start when it was time to disembark 😳. Then onto Chemainus and a beautiful reunion with one of my two HS besties. So much to talk about and not nearly enough time. Thinking about how to fix that.
A windy windy road, some impressive feats of engineering on Kennedy Lake Hill, a bit of construction stoppage and then that eternal last 24kms into Tofino after the Junction. Why does that take so long??!!
This place, Stellars Jay Retreat, is incredible. We will explore more in the am but managed to find two workspaces and get all tech-ed up. I can feel my re-juvanessence happening!Read more
