A great great day

Started my day with some work (boo) and after three hours, it was time to suit up and head to the beach for some more surfing. The ocean was pretty calm, as well as extra cold today (likely more the air temps-5 degrees Celsius) so there was a fair amount of paddling around and waiting. But! I have progressed a bit and was able to get up on a couple of smallish green waves. Amy helped with some cueing which was critical. And then I got cold. So cold. Time to go in.
We afternoon tripped to Ukee fora poke around the Crow’s Nest and a lovely Lighthouse Loop wander - we ran into a family of mule deer, mama and two babies. Then a drop off at HarborAir and a hug to Amy - arrivederci - and I snagged some Sobo soup and bread and Legends Haul wooza for dinner. Time to cozy up as we both are nursing head colds.
